Industrial Training Fund (ITF) SIWES Payment Verification

Helping every eligible student receive rightful SIWES financial support and recognition.

Helping Eligible Students Verify Outstanding SIWES Allowances

The National Association of Polytechnic Students (NAPS), in collaboration with relevant stakeholders, is committed to supporting students who have successfully participated in the Students Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES) but are yet to receive their Industrial Training Fund (ITF) allowance.

The SIWES Payment Verification Portal has been established to provide a secure and centralized platform where eligible students can submit their information for verification. The data collected will assist in identifying outstanding cases, validating student records, and facilitating constructive engagement with the Industrial Training Fund (ITF) and other relevant authorities toward resolving outstanding payment issues.

Building Tradition Through Academic Leadership and Innovation

The Students Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES) is one of Nigeria's foremost skill acquisition programmes, designed to bridge the gap between classroom learning and practical industry experience. Administered by the Industrial Training Fund (ITF) in partnership with tertiary institutions, the programme equips students with valuable workplace exposure and enhances their employability after graduation.

As part of the scheme, eligible students are entitled to receive financial support from the Industrial Training Fund to assist with expenses incurred during their industrial attachment. However, some students have experienced delays or have not received their SIWES allowances despite completing all necessary requirements.

This verification exercise is aimed at compiling accurate records of affected students to support ongoing engagements with the appropriate authorities. By participating, you contribute to creating a comprehensive database that will aid in resolving outstanding payment concerns in a transparent and efficient manner.
