The National Association of Polytechnic Students (NAPS) is the foremost representative body for students enrolled in Nigerian polytechnics, monotechnics, colleges of technology, and other allied tertiary institutions offering technical and vocational education.

Founded on the principles of unity, advocacy, leadership, and academic excellence, NAPS serves as the collective voice of millions of students across Nigeria. The Association exists to safeguard students' interests, promote quality education, strengthen collaboration among institutions, and contribute meaningfully to national development through technical and vocational education.

Over the years, NAPS has remained committed to constructive engagement with government agencies, institutional management, regulatory bodies, development partners, and other stakeholders to advance policies and initiatives that improve students' welfare, educational standards, innovation, entrepreneurship, and employability. Strengthened professional development opportunities for Nigerian polytechnic students through a landmark Memorandum of Understanding with the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria.

NAPS exists to protect the interests of every polytechnic student in Nigeria while promoting academic excellence, responsible leadership, innovation, and national development.
